The name Elie Vindevogel may already sound familiar. This illustrator, animator and cartoonist from West Flanders graduated with a master’s degree in Animation Film from KASK in Ghent and has since built a versatile freelance career. Inspired by his love of animation, hip-hop, street culture and graphic design, he creates work that is instantly recognisable by its energetic lines, humour and playful characters. More recently, he also proved himself to be a true DIY enthusiast on the VTM programme Huis Gemaakt. Elie moves effortlessly between illustration, animation, murals, merchandise, cover art and visual identities. He has contributed to a wide variety of projects within the Ghent and Belgian hip-hop scene, developing his own distinctive cartoon-inspired visual language centred around expressive characters, dynamic compositions and plenty of personality.

I ordered a case some time ago, and I forgot to put in my whole address, so the case got stuck with the courier until I realised this was the problem. I immediately contacted customer support, who had me confirm my address 2 more times (and honestly, they were legends in doing so, because my autocorrect had changed the whole name of the street as I was rushing to send the email back). They sent me a replacement case with no extra charge, and it arrived super quickly. The quality is INSANE, but the customer service I got was absolutely fantastic. If you want to buy knowing that there are actual humans on the other side of the screen waiting to give you a hand, this is the company to go to. A solid 11/10.
